Financial news, handled with care
In banking, lending, insurance, investments and payments, a single loose claim can undo years of trust. Customers, distributors, regulators, shareholders and journalists all read your announcements closely. Our editors pay attention to claims, disclaimers and regulatory references, so your release builds confidence without creating compliance headaches for your legal team.
Who your financial news needs to reach
A BFSI release rarely has one audience. A new credit product must persuade borrowers, reassure the lending partner, inform DSAs and agents, and signal growth to investors. A fintech licence approval matters to merchants, banking partners and future funders at the same time.
- Indian customers, partners and markets: an India Focused package carries your news via agencies such as ANI and PTI, with Business Standard on several tiers, which matters because business and personal-finance readers follow it, plus IANS and Hindustan Times on the top tier.
- Global investors and partners: fintechs raising from overseas funds, NBFCs tapping international lenders and Indian firms entering the Gulf, UK or US can add US & International distribution. Advanced places the release on finance-oriented outlets such as StreetInsider, and Barchart is available as a single-site add-on.
- NRI and cross-border audiences: remittance, NRI banking and GIFT City stories often justify UAE or UK distribution alongside India.
2,400+ Indian and international publications in our distribution network, including outlets such as:
Outlets are examples from our network. Placement depends on the package chosen and each publisher’s editorial acceptance.
Common BFSI announcements
- Quarterly results and business updates (after disclosure to exchanges, for listed entities)
- Regulatory licences and approvals, such as NBFC registration, payment aggregator authorisation, IRDAI or SEBI registrations
- New products: loans, cards, insurance plans, mutual fund schemes, trading and wealth features
- Bank, NBFC and fintech partnerships, co-lending tie-ups and embedded finance deals
- Funding rounds, debt raises and leadership appointments
- Branch and city expansion, especially into Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets
- Financial literacy, fraud awareness and CSR initiatives
Writing compliance-safe releases
This is not legal advice, and your compliance officer should sign off every release, but these habits keep financial announcements clean:
- State the regulated entity's correct legal name and, where relevant, its registration or licence status. Do not imply RBI, SEBI or IRDAI endorsement of a product.
- Include the disclaimers your regulator or industry body expects, such as the standard market-risk statement for mutual fund communication.
- Avoid return projections, "risk-free" or "assured" language, and comparisons you cannot substantiate. The ASCI code applies to financial claims in public communication too.
- For listed companies, make material disclosures to the stock exchanges first under SEBI's listing rules, then distribute the release.
Our compliance-safe BFSI press release guide has examples.
Timing matters as much as wording. Results releases should follow the exchange filing closely, not precede it. Product launches do well midweek during Indian market hours, when business desks are active, and announcements aimed at London investors can go out in the Indian afternoon, which is late morning in the UK.
We do not publish guaranteed-return claims, unregistered investment schemes or misleading financial promises. Keeping those out protects our network, and your brand's reputation alongside it.
Search results are your trust signal
Before downloading a lending app or opening a demat account, people search the brand name with words like "safe", "RBI registered" or "complaints". Coverage on established news domains gives those results pages verified, factual stories about your licences, partners and leadership, alongside your own site. Eligible news publishers can also surface in Google News for timely announcements such as results or approvals. Distributed release links are generally nofollow, so think of the SEO value as reputation management, branded mentions on trusted domains and referral traffic, not as a ranking trick.
Accurate answers from AI assistants
People increasingly ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews whether a lender or app is legitimate, who backs it and what it charges. In financial services, a wrong AI answer is a reputational risk. Releases that clearly state your regulator, licence type, partner bank, founding year, leadership and product terms on credible news sites give these systems accurate material to draw from. Nobody can guarantee an AI citation, but factual, consistent coverage makes a correct answer more likely. See GEO for PR for the approach.

Frequently asked questions
Do you accept crypto or trading-tip press releases?
We do not accept releases promoting guaranteed returns, unregistered investment schemes or trading tips. Contact us before submitting anything in a grey area.
Can a listed company use a press release for its quarterly results?
Yes, once the results have been disclosed to the stock exchanges as required. The release then helps the wider media, investors and customers find a clear summary of the numbers.
Will your editors handle our regulatory compliance review?
No. Our editors check for misleading claims, missing disclaimers and obvious red flags, but your own compliance and legal teams remain responsible for regulatory sign-off.
Which package suits a fintech funding announcement aimed at global investors?
Pair an India Focused package for domestic credibility with a US & International package; Advanced adds finance-oriented outlets such as StreetInsider. A Barchart add-on is another option for investor-facing visibility.
Should we mention our regulator in the release?
Yes, state your registration or licence status factually, for example that an entity is an RBI-registered NBFC. Do not suggest that a regulator endorses or recommends your product.
