NewsWire Network (IBE Media and Research Private Limited) (“we”) runs https://www.newswirenetwork.com. This policy explains how we handle personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws.
1. What we collect
- Account details: name, email, phone, company, password (stored only in encrypted, hashed form).
- Billing details: billing name, address, GSTIN and order history. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay – we never see or store full payment details.
- Content you submit: press releases, articles, images, media contacts and notes. Content intended for publication becomes public once published.
- Messages: support tickets, contact forms and custom package requests.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, pages visited and cookies needed to keep you logged in, secure the site and remember your currency and cart. If analytics is switched on, Google Analytics collects usage statistics.
2. Why we use it
- to create and run your account and deliver the services you order;
- to process payments, issue invoices and meet tax and accounting obligations;
- to send service emails – confirmations, review notes, reports and security alerts;
- to answer support requests and prevent fraud, spam and abuse;
- to improve the website. We send marketing emails only if you agree, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
3. Who we share it with
- Partner Publications receive the Content you submit for publishing, and any media contact details included in it.
- Service providers who help us run the site – Razorpay (payments), our hosting and email providers, Google (analytics, if enabled), CAPTCHA providers and, if search AI is enabled, our AI provider for search queries. They may only use the data to provide their service to us.
- Authorities when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is open. Invoices and order records are kept for at least 8 years as required by Indian tax law. Published Content stays public on Partner Publications under their own policies. Security logs are kept for a limited period.
5. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or update your data, withdraw consent for optional uses, or have your account deleted (subject to records we must keep by law). You can also nominate someone to act for you. Email help@newswirenetwork.com. Data in Content that has already been published must be removed by the publication, and we will pass on your request where we can.
6. Security
We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, access controls and spam protection. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
7. Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version. We will email you about significant changes.
