Get Featured Where Your Buyers Already Read

Sponsored and organic placements on leading Indian and international news websites, for stories that need more than a wire release.

When a wire release is the wrong tool

A press release is built for announcements: something happened, here are the facts. But some stories are not announcements. A founder's journey, an argument about where your industry is heading, a deep look at one flagship project or a Q&A with your CTO all need a different format and a specific home. Media placement is how we put that kind of content on named Indian and international news websites your customers, investors and partners already read.

If you are weighing the two, our guide to media placement vs press release distribution sets out when each one makes sense.

Two routes: arranged and earned

Arranged (sponsored) placements

You choose an outlet from the media plan we propose, the content is prepared to that publisher's guidelines, and it goes live once the publisher approves it. These are editorial-style articles, not independent journalism: each publisher labels them according to its own policy (for example as sponsored, brand or partner content), and we never present them as anything else. What you gain is certainty of the outlet and timing, confirmed before you pay.

Earned (pitched) coverage

Here our team pitches your story, data or spokesperson to relevant journalists and editors. They decide independently whether to cover it, what angle to take and whether to quote you. We do not guarantee earned coverage, and anyone who does is selling something else. What we can do is shape a pitch that gives a reporter a genuine reason to care.

Formats that work well

2,400+ Indian and international publications in our distribution network, including outlets such as:

Outlets are examples from our network. Placement depends on the package chosen and each publisher’s editorial acceptance.

Choosing the right outlet

Outlet choice starts with the reader, not the logo. A Mumbai-based lender courting Indian depositors needs a different shortlist from a Bengaluru SaaS start-up chasing mid-market buyers in Texas. When we build a media plan we look at who reads each publication, whether it covers your category at all, its regional versus national reach, and how its branded content is labelled. For US visibility, premium single-site options such as APNews.com or USAToday.com are also available as add-ons to a release; see how premium placements work.

What a placement does for search

A well-placed feature on a respected domain is a page about your brand that can rank for your company name, your founder's name or a niche topic for years. That supports a stronger brand search result and gives Google more consistent signals about what your company does. Be clear-eyed about links: sponsored placements are normally marked nofollow or sponsored under Google's guidelines, so the SEO value lies in visibility, mentions and referral visitors rather than passing authority. We do not sell link schemes.

Features and AI answers

Long-form articles are richer source material for AI assistants than a short announcement. A profile that states your founder's background, your company's founding year, its core offer and a few verifiable numbers gives ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews concrete facts to draw on when someone asks about your space. Clear attribution, consistent naming and specific claims make that content easier to use; whether any AI tool cites it is outside anyone's control.

How a placement runs

  1. You share the goal, target readers, budget and any outlets you already have in mind.
  2. We send a media plan with options, confirmed availability, labelling and expected go-live timing.
  3. Your team or ours drafts the piece; we adapt it to each publisher's style and rules.
  4. The publisher reviews and publishes; you receive live links in a coverage report.

Many clients combine a placement with a wire release on the same day, so the feature adds depth while the release adds breadth. Compare release packages on the pricing page.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between an arranged placement and earned coverage?

An arranged placement is a paid, editorial-style article on an outlet confirmed in advance and labelled according to that publisher's policy. Earned coverage comes from pitching journalists, who decide independently whether and how to cover your story, so it cannot be guaranteed.

Can I choose the exact publication?

For arranged placements, yes: you pick from the outlets in your media plan, and we confirm availability and terms before you pay. Some publishers may decline certain topics or require edits.

Will the article be labelled as sponsored?

Each publisher applies its own labelling, such as sponsored, partner or brand content, and we do not ask them to hide it. Transparent labelling protects both your credibility and the outlet's.

Do I get to approve the article before it goes live?

Yes. You approve the draft before submission, although the publisher may make final edits to fit its style and policies.

Can a media placement replace a press release?

They do different jobs. A release spreads the facts of an announcement widely; a placement tells a deeper story on one chosen outlet, which is why they are often used together.
